About Us

St Leonards florist is in the seaside coastal town of St Leonards and has been an established family run florist since 1970.

Recently, Natalia her tree surgeon husband Luke and two sons have taken over from Paula and her husband, who was a flower wholesaler. They had the St Leonards florist for 18 years having bought the shop from the original owners, the French family. Who ran it alongside their flower/plant nursery, selling the produce they grew.

Natalia started her floristry career at 15 years old on a weeks work experience in another long standing traditional florist within the town, James Paine florist. That's now unfortunately gone. She was employed by the manager, Carol, as a saturday girl. Quickly picking up the skills and embracing the practice needed to become a florist. Natalia went on to do art, design and craft at Hastings College and Brighton University, before finally going to Plumpton college and completing the floristry qualification. Having since gained many years experience in several local florists creating many floral gifts, funeral tributes and bridal bouquets and arrangements.

Natalia now finds herself fulfilling the dream of that 15 year old saturday girl alongside Carol, the manager who took me under her wing and taught me all those years ago. Carol is an incredible florist with a grand amount of experience and a natural flare for floristry. Together they bring traditional and comtempary styles of floristry to meet your every floral need. Be it a gift, wedding or funeral tributes, we will do their upmost to accomodate and go above and beyond.
